Food Trucks
It may seem like food trucks are a recent phenomenon, but they’re not. They’ve just migrated from blue collar workplaces, like construction sites, to city streets. It was a transition born mostly of necessity since the recession did a number on the building biz. Plus, the food channels on cable glorified the trend, and here we are.
I don’t mean to sound like this transition hasn’t been a good thing, because it has. Food trucks are great. They provide fast food, and very often it’s high quality at reasonable prices. Food trucks go where the people are – downtown at lunch hour, park festivals, even weddings. They bring a feeling of nostalgia, even though most of their customers were never served by the older generation of food trucks.
So what do you have a craving for? Tacos? Korean barbecue? Grilled cheese? If they’re not there already, they’re coming soon to a city near you!
